Fostering in Scotland
Welcome to Fostering People Scotland
Thinking of fostering in Scotland? We know that becoming a foster carer is a big decision. So when you choose to foster a child with us, you’re guaranteed the best possible support.
That’s because our Dundee-based team work with foster carers within local communities across central and eastern Scotland. In fact, we’re currently looking for foster carers in Dundee, Aberdeen and Fife, as well as Angus, Perth and Kinross, Stirling, Falkirk Aberdeenshire and the Lothians, and Clackmannanshire.
Your local support network
We pride ourselves on our local and friendly approach. In fact, our experienced Scotland fostering team works hard to ensure you receive the support you need to change children’s lives. From regular support groups to our local training courses and out of hours service, we’re always here for you – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
It’s why a recent review by the Care Inspectorate graded the care we offer as ‘Very Good’. And as we continue to grow, we’re determined to improve these grades even further.
Established in Scotland in 2013, we are celebrating 5 years as part of an agency that has offered exceptional foster care in England since 2000. With a heritage spanning 18 years, we draw on a wealth of fostering knowledge and expertise to help you get the best out of your fostering experience.
We may be small, but we’re growing fast. If you choose to foster with us, you’ll be joining us at an exciting time as we work closely with our carers to help shape the future of our service.
