Children’s Photographic Competition
Over the last few months we have been running a photographic competition for all children within Fostering People. The competition set the children a real challenge as the photos needed to reflect family life or foster care but were not allow to feature people.
Our children have risen to the challenge and we have received some amazing images which we can’t wait to share with you all. But before we share, we need all the wonderful photographs to be judged.
We are delighted to announce that our judge for this competition is the landscape photographer, Chris Gilbert. Chris, is based in the Peak District and his photography highlights the beauty of his home and can be seen in all its glory in this book he produced in conjunction with Mick Ryan. ‘Photographing the Peak District’.
Chris has been taking photos for over 30 years and became a full time photographer in 2006, his work has been exhibited as part of a competition at the National Theatre in London and over 100 examples of his work are on view within the halls of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
Fostering People wish Chris lots of luck as his work is also being judged, as one of his stunning images has been shortlisted for ‘Outdoor Photographer of the year’.
