Attendance confirmed at Children’s Rights Event

Fostering People is sending 20 of our looked after children to Legoland Windsor to take part in the Children’s Right Conference on 27th June, which has been organised by Ofsted.
The aim of the conference is to secure the views of children aged 12 in the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child (UNCRC) articles and some specific ‘Rights and Responsibilities’ issues.
What the children tell the Children’s Rights Director for England will be published and sent straight to government minister and officials.
This is a great opportunity for the children to feed their views directly into government and shape future legislation as well as enjoying a fun day out with free access to the park.
