Carers’ feedback shines positivity all round

At the end of 2009, Fostering People undertook a survey of its East Midlands Foster Carers and asked them to rate Fostering People in 8 key areas of support and administration.
This was the first survey of its kind at Fostering People and we have been very encouraged by the results:

Placement support and Matching 4.11 out of 5
Head office support and administration 5 out of 5
Foster Carer Training 5 out of 5
The recruitment and assessment process 4.63 of out 5
Out of hours service 4.77 out of 5

These results have provided us with the opportunity to listen to the views of our foster carers, understand what we are doing very well and understand where we can still improve further.
We will be carrying out this survey again at the end of 2010 across the whole of the Fostering People foster carer groups.
