John Platt receives specialist recognition

The Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children and Young People's Services (C4EO), which is funded by the Government’s Department for Schools Children and Families, has recently recognised Fostering People Operational Manager, John Platt, as a Sector Specialist for Vulnerable (Looked After) Children.
John is delighted to have been recognised as a sector specialist with looked after children and believes that agencies like Fostering People bring a real sense of "what works" to improve the lives of looked after children: "We have a good sense of what works at Fostering People but we are always striving to improve. Key to this improvement is working closely with our carers and positive partnerships with others. I hope that this sector specialist role will enable a real sharing of good practice with local authorities responsible for children."
