Fostering Services

Fostering People provides fostering services centred on the needs of our children and young people in care. We do everything we can to provide a safe, supportive and caring family environment through which children or young people can learn, grow and develop.

The aim of our high quality fostering services is to ensure that vulnerable children and young people across the UK have safe and stable homes to live in when they can’t stay with their birth families.

Child focused fostering services

Fostering People provides comprehensive fostering services to promote good communication and positive working relationships between our staff, our foster carers and our looked after young people.

We understand that children can sometimes feel left out their fostering services and that their voices aren’t always heard. Working closely with our foster carers, we strive to continually improve our fostering services by ensuring that the views, rights and needs of the child remain at the centre of everything we do.

We hold regular reviews of a fostering placement in conjunction with our foster carers and foster children, and our Supervising Social Workers maintain close contact throughout a placement to ensure that everyone is receiving the fostering services they need.

Comprehensive fostering services support

Together with our foster carers, we seek to produce positive outcomes for looked after children and young people across the UK. That’s why it’s important to us that the foster carers who help us to achieve that are supported, developed and rewarded throughout their fostering careers.

At Fostering People we work to provide a comprehensive fostering support services and training courses to all our carers. Our established network of social workers offer our fostering services to foster carers in the North East, the North West, the East Midlands, Yorkshire and Central England to provide high quality placements to children and young people.
