With a nationwide shortage of foster carers, we’re asking the people of the North East to consider changing young people’s lives through fostering.
We’re looking to recruit carers from all areas of County Durham, including: Durham City, Chester-le-Street, Consett, Bishop Auckland, Stanley, Ferryhill, Crook, Darlington, Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees.

At Fostering People, we’re committed to providing the best possible outcomes for children and young people. We achieve this through the local support and training that we provide for our foster carers.
