For children and young people
Are you a child or young person fostered? Or are you introducing a looked after child or young person into your family?
Welcome to the children and young people's section of our website. If you’re looking for some really useful fostering information, you’ve come to the right place. And that's because this entire section is dedicated just for you. After all, the guys at Fostering People know that you’re the most important people are when it comes to fostering. (So if you're a foster carer please leave this section now, this bit's just for children and young people!).
Making the most of your website
In order to make your section of the website as useful as possible for you, we could do with some help. So if you’ve got any suggestions about what else you’d like to see on here, drop us an email at info@fosteringpeople.co.uk.
Here's what we've got for you so far…
Meet some foster carers and other children who are fostered
It’s nice to meet some other foster carers, and here’s where we introduce a few of them to you. Foster carers are just normal people, just like me and you, but extra kind I suppose. And they’re all looking forward to involving you in the exciting adventures they get up to… let's see some more
It’s pretty cool to be able to read about other children and young people of all ages who live in fostering families – and see how much some of them are really enjoying it too… let's see some more
Fostering questions you might have
There’s probably lots of questions running through your mind about fostering, such as will you get the opportunity to meet your foster carers before your placement starts? Take a read through a few of the most common fostering-related questions by clicking here.
There’s also our very own Looked after children’s directory, a snazzy idea by the team at Fostering People, which contains some useful information about places you might like to visit and clubs and associations you could join – have a mooch around.
